This is a bit of a weird favourite this week, because I totally adore this product, but I also don’t really use it for its intended purpose. Confused? Sorry.

I stumbled across Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Marvel Gel (what a mouthful) years and years ago, sort of wanted it, couldn’t afford it at the time, and promptly forgot about it. Then, about 18 months ago, I got a sample of it in a Glossybox and almost died of excitement.

REVIEWSDAY: Yes to Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream

I have mentioned in a couple of previous posts about concealers that I am waging a long-running war against my under-eye circles, and that I will move heaven and earth to find a concealer that will sort them out. This time, though, I decided to try and treat the source of the problem ad hoc and start looking at correcting eye creams.

I’ve been using eye creams for a while, but not been too fussy about which – the ones I’ve used most have been Benefit It’s Potent and Balance Me Wonder, both of which I have in sample sizes from beauty boxes – so this might actually be the first eye cream I’ve ever gone out and bought, and it’s the Yes to Grapefruits Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream.

It’s in the name, right?

REVIEWSDAY: Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

This is a very exciting review for me because I have wanted this moisturiser for SO LONG. But because of my excitement, I am also writing this review the day after buying it because I just couldn't wait any longer, so maybe think of this as more of a first impressions review than our normal incredibly well-researched and thorough reviews. Ahem.

So, we mentioned in our resolutions post yesterday that we were going to be more reliable bloggers this year, and in the spirit of that, here’s this week’s favourites post… two days late.

But I’ll make up for it, I swear, by telling you all you ever wanted to know about Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. The name is a mouthful, but the product is just gorgeous.

REVIEWSDAY: Sniffy Wiffy Hand Cream

Today, appropriately with it (finally) being December, is in a way our first Christmas post, because although it is a usual Tuesday review, this is definitely something I think would make a great Christmas gift. Having said that, although this is a review of the hand creams that we got to try, this is also a (slightly gushing) post about the brand and their products in general.

We had the lovely opportunity of meeting the couple behind Sniffy Wiffy at a Bloggers Love Hub event, and received hand cream samples to try, so I'll talk about these first but then quickly discuss the brand as a whole a bit too.

Yes I know, yet another skincare favourite, but I just don't seem as loyal to makeup as I am to skin products! I think it's partly because with make-up, it's not so much about the experience and more just the end results, whereas with skincare how it feels is also so important. This stuff feels incredible.

Toners can be a bit of a controversial topic in the beauty world. Some people swear by them, and some people think they’re nonsense. I’m somewhere in the middle - I don’t swear by toners, and some of them definitely are nonsense, but I do swear by this one: Pixi Glow Tonic.

Bubble baths are really important.

On a day-to-day basis, showers are a million times faster and more convenient in terms of actually getting clean, but bubble baths are important for the soul. Because my skin is really sensitive, I have to be a bit careful of the products I use, especially in a bath where you’re sitting in them for a long time, but something I can rely on not to irritate and that I reach for again and again is Lush Bubble Bars.

REVIEWSDAY: Superdrug Aloe Vera De-Stressing Mask

I have seen a few reviews of the Superdrug own-brand masks floating around the internet recently (notably Miss Budget Beauty and The Sunday Girl) but hey what's an extra one?
I did a huge Halloween look on Sunday (omg I am so excited to show you!) and I had to pop to Superdrug to pick up some extra make-up, but while I was there I thought maybe it would be a good idea to do a mask afterwards to help my skin recover a little, and because for £2.59 why wouldn't you?

This is a first for me in the Favourites feature (fffff) in that it’s a relatively new discovery, but I’m definitely, definitely going to be repurchasing in the future and I love it so much I just couldn’t relegate it to a Reviewsday post.

I was sort of struggling this week with favourites though because in trying to think of something to write about I have discovered the only things I am loyal to are lip and hair products (apart from this Bourjois mascara of course) and you could perhaps say I have sort of got them covered for now...

I am obsessed with moisturiser. It’s my absolute number one desert island necessity, shortly followed by Twinings English Breakfast tea and probably a boat or something I guess.
